Morning started with the world's longest dinghy trip around the worlds longest breakwater and a hike upto a castle run by two Italian Gents who were clearly very into the museum. Cue a ten minute search for the 'museum room' and a little wander around the grounds. We were proudly ushered into a room to watch the history of the castle on a TV that must have only been installed that morning (box was still in the corner), all in Italian of course but we got the gist... Then back down for a supermarket sweep style shop in a much needed supermarket after eating rations of canned tuna and brown pasta for the last few days. Onto the boat and into headwinds, obviously. Light ones at that. Bit of a tack out, tack back in then the wind died. Motoring up the coast into the sunset wasn't all bad with everything crossed that Ivan didn't decide to give up again and overheat. He played nice though and after a couple hours we dropped the hook to prep dinner. Ten minutes in and all power on the boat dropped out. 12v, inverter, the lot. Turns out a 275amp battery isolator doesn't like 300 amps of current and melted itself.. a sweaty hour later and all was well. Probably not best to ask how we fixed it.
