Finally left Almerimar towards the balearics after a 3 week stop for work⛵️ A beautiful downwind run with only 3 gybes all the way 😊 Calm at first and then a bit rougher in 25kts and 2.5m seas during the night. But fast we were! Missing the long and kind atlantic waves already 😇 Marked 1000nm sailed with the new dyneema rigg. Still some getting used to but I wouldn‘t go back to SS anymore! I‘d love to brag with a photo of the huge fish I caught. Unfortunately it had a devils mouth and managed to bite right trough my new line… 😤 Europe’s biggest salt water lagoon is on the way, definitely nothing to miss. Excited for tomorros excursion checking out the flamingos 🦩 Images: - sunset at sea - napping away - I could watch the windvane work all day - some visitors - anchored in the lagoon
