Our final passage on Midwest Nice was one for the books — probably our best ever, with SOG up to 12kt and (mainly) perfect wind, though not without some fish-feeding and countercurrent (whoops). After two glorious months around Green Turtle Cay in the Bahamas, we staged at Spanish and jumped off the bank at Walker’s … 48hrs later we made the Charleston jetties. Celebrating with friends tonight in the town where this all started two years ago almost exactly. Then, she goes on the market… they say the best two days of a boaters life are the day they buy the boat and the day they sell it — I’m doubtful 😉 If you or someone you know is interested, hit a brother up.
