Our original plan was to sail to the Marquesas today and then to Key West tomorrow but the weather was getting worse & worse tomorrow so we did it in one shot. Pretty crappy sail going into the wind and waves with 6-8 ft seas but got even worse when we were about 30 minutes out. Our furling line for our head sail broke as we were bringing it in at the same time a smaller boat was heading towards us and not changing course (they probably didn’t see us because water was going over their bow). Then for 2 hours in 30 kts Andrew and Brian found a way to re run the line and as that was happening our dingy davit broke and dropped our dinghy in the water (luckily only 1 line so we could drag it back). Finally got to our marina fuel dock and probably going to stay here for a night or 2 during this crazy storm coming in
