Hey there! We’re Max (the bearded sailor), Barbara (the blond boss) and Vlad (the angry cat)! Once upon a time, we wore suits and sat in offices in Italy... Today, we live full-time aboard our sailboat SV Goat, chasing sunsets, storms, and a life of adventure around the world. We’re not influencers — we’re just two dreamers with salt in our hair, wind in our faces, and a camera to share it all! Join us as we laugh, cry, fix broken stuff, and sail to wherever the wind (or engine) takes us. Find us on YouTube: @sv_goat and Instagram: @sailing_svgoat See you out there, salty souls!
We're stocking up and getting ready for the sail to Sicily 🇮🇹. This city stop in Argostoli is short but essential. Next update: open sea!
We’ll be waiting here for the right weather window to cross over to Sicily. Tried some fishing in the meantime… zero luck 🎣😂 At least the bay is stunning!
11 hours of sailing with wind right on the nose and annoying choppy waves. Not the most comfortable ride, but that’s sailing life! We’re slowly making our way west, and the Ionian Islands are just around the corner. Feeling tired but excited! the next big jump will take us all the way to Sicily 🇮🇹⛵️
We left Kalamata, land of Leonidas and Spartan pride, and sailed south along the rugged Peloponnesian coast. After hours of wind and salt, we arrived in the Bay of Navarino, near the town of Pylos, a place steeped in myth and history. Anchored where empires once clashed and legends were born..
We just rounded the second finger of the Peloponnese.. the legendary land of Leonidas and the Spartans. No tourist traps here, just raw mountains, ancient wind, and a sea that whispers of battles past.. On our way to Kalamata, slowly melting🔥🫠
Sailing through the Peloponnese brought us back to stunning views, peaceful anchorages… and old friends! Always special when the sea brings us together again. ❤️⚓️
We left the Cyclades with the wind at our back, heading towards the Peloponnese. In between, Cape Maleas, the infamous Devil’s Cape, where the Aegean and the Ionian seas meet… and they don’t shake hands nicely. 🌊💨 Confused seas, sudden gusts, and a reputation that’s been feared for centuries. We waited, we watched the weather, and then we went for it.💪
From Kythnos to Milos, the last of the ciclades for us before heading to the peleoponnes. If anyone is in the neighborhood come to say hi👋🍻
After days at anchor in Batsi with gusts that hits 51 knots, 😵💫 we finally had a little weather window to move to the next island on our list, kythnos🇬🇷❤️
We sailed 11 hours from skiros Island to ydrousa Beach through a roaring meltem that hit 38 knots and built 2 meters wave, while avoiding many bulk carriers.. 😱 We know that it seems a nightmare..but good weather doesn't make good sailors💪
