Transiting the Panama Canal pt. 1!
Today the doors to the Caribbean Sea literally closed behind us. We’ve gone through the first three locks of the Panama Canal and are now moored to a big bouy in the Gatun Lake. After weeks of absolutely NO wind, Mother Nature blessed us with 15-25 knots of wind while going through the canal. Of course..
Don’t miss the last photo of
@sisseltherkildsen who had to jump on the bouy to secure our lines, after a bit of a last minute brief from our advisor. Life is always eventful onboard Lulu Tao..🥲
Tomorrow morning we’ll get a new advisor onboard before making our way across the lake, to the last three locks.
A big chapter has closed and the Pacific Ocean is waiting for us.💕
