Our engine acted up again; it stalled just after we had pulled up the anchor. Greg quickly threw the anchor back down. Eventually, we managed to get the engine running and set off, though with a sense of unease. It seemed like the engine wasn't getting enough diesel at startup, but once running, it worked fine. During our journey from Menorca to Mallorca, we frequently alternated between the engine and our sails. With no waves, the voyage was relaxing. What a gigantic bay! We quickly found a spot among the hundreds of boats, a mix of anchored ones and those tied to mooring buoys. We anchored near Punta Ravell, close to a military zone, with a view of La Fortaleza, an old fort that can be rented for events like weddings. On our second night, we enjoyed the sounds of flamenco and wedding speeches from our cockpit. Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful, tranquil seaside town in northeastern Mallorca. We strolled around, admired the stunning holiday homes, and enjoyed a meal. The next day, we went for a walk to Cami de Cala B贸quer, an absolute must-see. The natural beauty, from the countryside to the hills and mountains, left us speechless. The well-marked trail led us to Cala B贸quer. As soon as we saw the bay with its beautiful blue water, imposing mountains, and lush greenery, we decided we had to bring our boat here. It was too perfect an anchorage to pass up. And so, the next day, we raised the anchor and left Puerto Pollensa and Punta Ravell behind.
